Institute of Functional Medicine

The Ayurvedic healing system is almost 5,000 years old.

The philosophy underlying Ayurveda is very similar to the philosophy of Chinese Traditional Medicine. Specifically, it envisions the body as a seat of great intelligence. And a result, the practice explores the ancient principles of maintaining energetic balance and compositions within our body’s cells. These principles are often fused with the Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequency (PEMF) Biofeedback diagnostics, which involve the application of electromagnetic energy to your body’s tissues.

In my own practice, I often offer Ayurvedic assessment and recommendations, if the patient expresses  interest. Some common treatments I use also include vegan organic herbs, breathing techniques, massage, dietary interventions and applications of therapeutic oils. Ayurvedic Medicine

I love Ayurveda with all my heart. It explains so much of the mystery in the way that patients react differently to seasons, foods and medications. Moreover, Ayurvedic medicine empowers patients with knowledge of themselves & of the world, creating optimal conditions for the body to heal itself.
